Early one Saturday morning I crept through the morning mist to one of my favourite antique bookstores in the mountains. The clouds still hung low over the mountain village as the sun started creeping up the eastern slope. I had just left the Julian Pie Company across the street, a belly full of Dutch Apple, and my ancient fingers curled in the porcelain hook of a cinnamon coloured cup full of my breakfast Java. I was looking for the book "For Whom The Bell Tolls." The doors had just been opened by hands I had not seen, and stood there beckoning as if to say, "Yes, come in and fill your head with imagination!"
Oh, my. That is an incredibly beautiful scene. Wish my yard looked like that.
Did you find your book? Or did you end up consuming your time with camera in hand to capture these magnificant images?
The photo is very well done. I love the colors, the vibrancy.. but they're not too much that they take away from the subject. Great job.
LOL. I did both. I found my book, and I manically menaced the community with my camera.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
